Marketing is all About Momentum
Everyone thinks everyone else could use their products. They target too big a market at once, failing to meet their goals as a result. Don’t think big numbers, think momentum. What is the smallest group who could love your product? Find groups, forums, organizations, lists, Facebook friends, and find your target. Begin with just one target audience, and work hard to gain their business. Once you have them, pursue another. This creates momentum. The narrower the target, the fewer misses you will have. A few successes lead to more successes and get momentum, or kinetic energy, going.
