We always obsess over finding the right answers, but the real key is finding the right questions; the rest is easy. Since our minds work to solve any questions we give them, one of the keys to strategic creativity is learning how to give our brains the right questions. Ask your brain, “why won’t people do business with me?” Unfortunately, it will generate an answer for your subconscious at the very least (i.e. because you aren’t really worth doing business with). The key is driving down further and further asking yourself sub question after sub question. Always try to start with, and focus on, questions from somebody else’s perspective like your customer’s.
